How I Went From 0 to 3,312 page views in less than a week!

Hinthacks page views 3,312 in less than a week | how to blog, blog views, blog stats, analytics, blog traffic, grow your blog, motivationPin for later

It’s been about two months now since I’ve started my blog. I took a leap of faith to see where this will take me. I’ve seen so many other blogs that have successfully turned their blogs into businesses that it motivated me to start my own. My ultimate goal for my website is to be able to say I work full-time as a blogger.

At this point, I do not make any money from my blog but I am happy with that because I am seeing growth with my blog. These past few days I have gotten a lot of traffic and I am so grateful.

So what is getting me all this amazing traffic?

Pinterest!

If you’re also a fellow blogger you’ve probably already guessed it. Every blog I read they say “Pinterest is the secret to getting booming traffic.”

It really is true and the best part of Pinterest is that it’s free!

If you would like to take a look at my Pinterest or follow meHinthacksI would love to connect with you.

Another great free source of traffic I use that connects with Pinterest is Tailwind

I love tailwind because it connects you with other bloggers and gets your pins to circulate all around Pinterest. This is what led one of my pins to go “viral” and get me crazy traffic.  I remember like it was yesterday… (granted it was only a few days ago) but I was freaking out, my views shot up to 310 views!

Another way I get my pins circulated around Pinterest is by joining group boards.

But that’s not all…

The next day my views skyrocketed to 795! Then to 543, 363, and yesterday 723. My views have been doing so well and today I am up 578 views. Altogether 3,312 views in less than a week. So if you are thinking about starting a blog I would tell you to get started now! You never know where it could take you. My blog is just starting to get traffic but with positive thoughts and faith, I can see an amazing future.

If you’re wondering how to get started:

I started with WordPressSiteground (for hosting), and Namecheap (for my domain). These are the best sites if you’re on a budget like I was.

I hope I have encouraged some of you to keep pushing through even when your views are low or down to zero. I have started a blog in the past and quit because I wasn’t getting any views and I didn’t know what to write about or what steps to take. Facebook groups, Pinterest, and Google have helped me this time around. I refuse to give up this time and I will keep pushing for my goals.

Stay positive and keep your faith.

  1. I’m still confuse how to utilize Pinterest and Tailwind to grow my blog views. Did you sign up using Tailwind pro? Do you recommend any post on how to use Tailwind? That itself is confusing to me.

    1. I first signed up with Tailwind as a free member from someone else and received a $15 credit. So when the free trail ended, I now have free $15 for another month. When this month is up I will continue to use Tailwind pro. If you haven’t signed up, my link gives you a $15 code also. Now Tailwind can schedule your pins to your Pinterest boards and you also want to join tribes, in Tailwind, where you share your pins to groups. You can search Pinterest on Tailwind or look at Tailwind tutorials like I did. I am also thinking to make a more detailed post about this to give you more insight.
